Whitewine
Our passion has long been devoted to Riesling and the Pinot varieties.
For Riesling, the spectrum ranges from our elegant, yet rich Feuermännchen to the opulent Réserve from old vineyards. For our basic Riesling wines, we deliberately harvest early to preserve freshness, fruit, and acidity.
Our Pinot varieties thrive on the calcareous soils of the Neuleiningen Sites, which give them minerality and strength. They are vinified exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve their delicate structure. Our range also includes off-dry and semi-sweet wines.
Redwine
Our red wines are fermented exclusively on the skins and all undergo natural malolactic fermentation. Pinot Noir holds a special place with us. On the calcareous Sonnenberg site, it develops its distinctive, individual style – much like in its Burgundian homeland.
From the finest grapes, we also produce our long-aged Pinot Noir Réserve, Blaufränkisch, and the Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot cuvée.

Riesling
Riesling is our flagship and at the same time our most important grape variety, accounting for roughly 25% of our production. We value it for its remarkable versatility, its delicate elegance, pronounced acidity, exceptional aging potential, and its lively freshness in youth. We aim to honor this multifaceted character in all our wines.
The journey begins with our Riesling Kabinett Trocken in the liter bottle – a light, summery style with moderate alcohol and great drinkability. Beyond that, we interpret Riesling in numerous other expressions: Le Tendre – “the Tender” – represents our slightly softer style with subtle, off-dry sweetness and harmonious balance.
In our single vineyard Feuermännchen, shaped by vines over 60 years old in places, Riesling reveals its full power and depth. Here, we deliberately give it time to develop. In particular, our Riesling Réserve – partially aged in wood – and the reductively vinified Feuermännchen develop complex, captivating aromas and gain additional expression and character through extended bottle aging.
Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir)
Our Pinot Noir vines thrive on calcareous soils, just as they do in their Burgundian homeland. Some of our vineyards in the Sonnenberg site lie only 200 meters from an old limestone quarry – a special location that imparts expression and minerality to the grapes.
They benefit greatly from our cool-climate sites. The elegance of Pinot is legendary: even with exclusive barrel aging, as in our Pinot Noir Réserve, its finesse remains unmistakable. The variety displays lightness, subtlety, and layered nuances.
In addition, we produce above all our Spätburgunder Kalkboden – a clear, straightforward wine without wood contact, featuring fresh fruit. A wine that hovers between red and rosé, never heavy, and perfect for enjoyment even on hot summer days.
Pinot Noir accounts for about 20% of our production and represents, for us, the art of refined, elegant red wines.

Beyond Riesling and Pinot Noir
Our range is diverse and of the highest quality. Thanks to our ideal location and excellent soils, we place a special focus on cultivating Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc. The limestone gives the wines minerality and preserves a lively acidity – a perfect combination.
A personal favorite of our winemaking family is Sauvignon Blanc – carefully tended, it delights with aromas of fresh grass, subtle spices, and green bell pepper.
Chardonnay is also on the rise: we have one 35-year-old vineyard, as well as a younger six-year-old planting, which we enjoy blending for the contrasting character of the vines. We produce a red wine cuvée of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as a rosé from Schwarzriesling (Pinot Meunier) and Cabernet Sauvignon. Bacchus and Scheurebe also hold a special place in our hearts, creating wonderfully off-dry wines with refreshing flavor and balanced acidity.
